How much does a fashion lookbook photoshoot cost in Dubai?

A fashion lookbook shoot at Tasweer starts at AED 2,000 (excl. 5% VAT) for 1 hour in our Dubai studio, with a model included and 3 edited photos per item. A 2-hour shoot with 5 short reels is AED 3,500, and 3 hours with 5 short reels is AED 5,000.

How much does a fashion lookbook photoshoot cost in Dubai?

At our studio, a lookbook shoot costs AED 2,000 to AED 5,000 depending on session length, before 5% VAT. The model is included, so you know the main cost before you book.

We tried to find published Dubai market rates for complete lookbook shoots and could not open a source we could verify, so we do not quote a market average. Studios and freelancers bundle models, styling and editing differently, so the only fair comparison is the same hours, the same model arrangement, the same edited photos per item and the same delivery time.

What changes the price of a lookbook shoot?

Session length, extra models, makeup, reels and location move the price most.

• Session length. One hour suits a small capsule. Two or three hours suit a larger collection or more complex styling.
• Extra models. An additional model is AED 500 on the 1-hour package, AED 1,000 on the 2-hour package and AED 1,200 on the 3-hour package.
• Makeup. A makeup artist is AED 800 per makeup.
• Extra photos. Each edited photo beyond your package is AED 35, and an extra edited reel is AED 150.
• Location. Outdoor shoots are quoted individually.

How many looks fit in one session?

It depends on how complex each look is, so we do not promise a fixed number. Simple looks on a plain backdrop are quick to shoot. Layered styling, accessories and hair changes take longer.

As a guide to planning, remember that your package counts edited photos per item: 3 edited photos for each garment or look. A collection of 10 items therefore has 30 edited photos. Send your item count and we recommend a session length that fits.

Pre-steam every garment, bring shoes and accessories for each look, and put the looks in shooting order. This saves more time than any other preparation.

Should you shoot your lookbook in the studio, in the city or in the desert?

Use the studio when you need consistency, a city location when you want context, and the desert for a few statement images.

• Studio. Controlled light, seamless backdrops and true fabric colour. Best for catalogue-style lookbooks and ecommerce on-model shots.
• City locations. Architecture and street settings add personality, and suit ready-to-wear and menswear.
• Desert. Strong for campaign hero images, but needs early starts, more logistics and sometimes permissions.

How do you prepare for a lookbook shoot?

Settle the creative direction before the shoot day so the session is spent shooting.

1. Count your looks. List every item and how many looks you want.
2. Collect references. Share 5 to 10 images that show the mood, pose and light you want.
3. Prepare the garments. Steam or iron everything, and check for loose threads and missing buttons.
4. Bring accessories. Shoes, bags and jewellery for each look.
5. Agree the model. Use the included model, or tell us if you are bringing your own.
6. Plan the reels. If your package includes reels, note which looks you want in motion.

• Total price in AED and whether 5% VAT is added.
• Whether a model is included, and the fee for extra models.
• Whether makeup and styling are included or extra.
• Hours on set and how many edited photos per item.
• Whether you receive all photos or only the edited selection.
• Delivery time.
• Usage rights for the photos and for the model.
