Every package includes a pre-shoot brief, backup gear on set, colour-graded and retouched delivery in a private gallery, files exported to each platform's spec, and a cloud and offline archive for 24 months.

What do other UAE studios and freelancers charge?

Published figures for the UAE suggest roughly AED 50 to 200 per product for standard white-background photography and AED 200 to 600 per image for lifestyle product work. Few studios publish prices, so treat the ranges below as a dated guide rather than a market survey.

A few honest caveats. These are figures we found published online, not quotes we collected, and the sources do not explain how they were gathered. "Per product" and "per image" are not the same thing: one SKU might need one image or five. Freelancer rates vary widely with experience and whether retouching is included, and we could not find a reliable published source for them, so we have not quoted a number.

The practical takeaway: when you compare quotes, convert everything to cost per final, retouched, marketplace-ready image, and check what is included (retouching rounds, exports per platform, pickup, licence).

What drives the price of a product shoot?

The number of final images per SKU is the biggest single driver, followed by styling, models and retouching complexity.

How do I work out cost per image?

Divide the package price by the number of final images you receive, then add 5% VAT. For example, Ecommerce Signature is AED 3,200 for up to 40 products with 40 retouched photos. That is about AED 80 per image before VAT, or AED 84 including VAT.

Do the same sum for every quote you receive. A low per-SKU price that includes only one angle can cost more in the end than a fuller set, because marketplaces reward listings with several images. How can I keep product photography costs down?

Batch your products, group them by size and finish, and agree the shot list before shoot day.

• Shoot in batches. One 50-SKU session costs far less per SKU than five 10-SKU sessions.
• Group similar products. Items with the same size and surface share one lighting set-up.
• Prepare the products. Remove stickers, steam garments and send spare units so damaged packaging is not a retouching job.
• Pick the right tier. If you only need marketplace main images, Ecommerce Essential or per-photo pricing is enough; add styled shots later for best-sellers.
• Check specs first. Read the Amazon.ae image requirements and Noon image guidelines so nothing has to be reshot.
