Studio or restaurant: where should your food be shot?

For delivery-app menus, shooting at your restaurant or cloud kitchen is usually best. Dishes reach the set in seconds, your chefs plate exactly as they do for customers, and the whole menu can be covered in one session.

The studio suits campaign work, packaged food and drinks, and shoots that need elaborate sets or controlled backgrounds. Heirloom projects often combine both.

Food & beverage FAQ

How much does food photography cost in Dubai?

Food photography is priced per photo: AED 250 each for 5 to 10 photos (from AED 1,250), AED 200 each for 11 to 30 photos and AED 175 each for more than 30. Lighting, setup and retouching are included. All prices exclude 5% VAT.

Do you shoot at our restaurant or cloud kitchen?

Yes. Most food shoots happen at your venue so the dishes go straight from the pass to the set. We bring lighting, backgrounds and props. You can also bring dishes to our Dubai studio if your kitchen is short on space.

Will the photos fit Talabat, Deliveroo and Careem?

Yes. Each app publishes its own image sizes and rules, which change from time to time, so we check the current requirements before the shoot and export a set for each platform you use.

Who prepares the food?

Your kitchen prepares the dishes, so the photos show what customers will actually receive. On Signature and Heirloom a food stylist on set refines plating and garnish for the camera.

Do you edit the food to look different?

We clean crumbs, drips and stray marks and correct colour, but we do not change portion sizes or ingredients. Honest images help avoid complaints and refunds on delivery apps.

How fast is delivery?

3 business days for 5 to 10 photos, 5 business days for 11 to 30 and 7 business days for larger menus, with 48-hour rush available as an add-on so new items can go live quickly.
