Perfume & Oud

Fragrance photography you can almost smell.

Perfume and oud photography in Dubai starts at AED 1,500 for a 1-hour studio session with 3 edited photos per bottle (excl. 5% VAT), or AED 150 to 250 per photo for marketplace main images. Delivery takes 7 to 10 days. We control reflections on glass, metal caps and lacquered boxes, and export for Amazon.ae, Noon and Shopify.

How should perfume bottles be lit to avoid reflections?

A glossy bottle reflects everything in the room, including the camera. We shoot inside a controlled set where every light source and surface is chosen deliberately, then use long, clean highlights to describe the shape of the glass. Black or white cards define the edges, so a clear bottle never disappears into a white background.

Metal and crystal caps are often lit and captured separately, then combined in retouching, so the cap is crisp and the liquid colour stays true. Engraved or embossed logos get their own raking light.

How do you photograph oud, bakhoor and incense?

Raw oud chips, bakhoor and incense are dark, textured and easy to lose against a background. We shoot them on surfaces that give contrast, such as stone, brass or pale wood, with directional light that picks out the grain. Burners and mabkharas can be styled with real smoke, captured over several frames to get a clean, controlled plume.

What images does a fragrance listing need?

A main image of the bottle on white, the bottle with its box, a close-up of the cap or atomiser, a styled mood frame that suggests the scent family, and a scale reference. Gift sets need a layout shot showing every item. For Ramadan, Eid and National Day, a seasonal styled frame helps a listing stand out without replacing the clean main image.

Perfume & Oud FAQ

How much does perfume photography cost in Dubai?

Styled product photography starts at AED 1,500 for a 1-hour studio session, AED 2,500 for 2 hours and AED 4,000 for 3 hours, each with 3 edited photos per product. White-background marketplace images start at AED 1,800 for up to 20 products, or AED 150 to 250 per photo. All prices exclude 5% VAT.

Can you remove reflections in retouching?

We remove stray reflections, dust and fingerprints in retouching, but we control them on set first. Clean capture gives a more natural bottle than heavy editing.

Can you shoot real smoke with bakhoor?

Yes. We shoot real smoke in a ventilated set and select the cleanest plume across several frames.

Do you shoot 360 spins of perfume bottles?

Yes. 360° spins and short loops start at AED 1,800 for 5 products and work well for faceted or sculpted bottles.

Should I send my products with or without the box?

With. Send at least one pristine unit with its box, and a spare where possible, so we can open the packaging for styled frames.

Can you match the liquid colour accurately?

Yes. Liquid colour shifts easily under light, so we check it against the real bottle before delivery.
