Privacy policy

This policy explains how Tasweer (“we”, “us”), a photography and video studio at Dubai, United Arab Emirates, handles personal data collected through this website. Tasweer is operated by Infinity Filmz, which is the data controller for this website. We process personal data in line with the UAE Personal Data Protection Law, Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 (PDPL).

What we collect

  • Enquiry details you type into our forms: name, WhatsApp or phone number, email, brand or company, the service you are interested in, product counts, event dates, budget range and any message.
  • Photos you upload for the free product edit.
  • Booking details: the date and time slot you hold, pickup preference and notes.
  • Attribution data: the page you first landed on, the referring website and campaign tags (utm parameters, gclid, fbclid), stored in a first-party cookie for 90 days so we know which channels bring enquiries.
  • Analytics and advertising data, only if you accept cookies: pages viewed, clicks and device information, collected by Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, advertising pixels and Microsoft Clarity.

Why we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry, send quotes and confirm bookings (performing a contract or taking steps at your request).
  • To edit and return your free product photo.
  • To keep records of bookings and invoices (legal obligation).
  • To measure and improve our marketing (your consent, given through the cookie banner).

We use your number and email only for the request you made. We do not sell personal data, and we do not add you to marketing messages unless you ask us to.

Who we share it with

We use trusted processors to run this website and our business: hosting (Vercel), our database and file storage (Supabase), email delivery (Resend), spam protection (Cloudflare Turnstile), and, only with your consent, Google, Meta and Microsoft analytics and advertising tools. Some of these providers store data outside the UAE; where they do, we rely on their contractual safeguards for cross-border transfers as permitted under the PDPL.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that do not become bookings: up to 24 months, then deleted.
  • Free-edit uploads: up to 90 days after we return your edit.
  • Client and booking records: as long as UAE accounting and tax rules require.

Your rights

Under the PDPL you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, restrict or object to its processing, and withdraw consent at any time. To change your cookie choice, use “Cookie settings” in the footer. For any other request, WhatsApp +971 58 222 7391. We reply within 30 days.

Security

Form data travels over HTTPS. Uploaded photos are kept in a private storage bucket and shared internally only through time-limited links. Access to enquiries is limited to studio staff.
