How much does event photography cost in Dubai?
By Tasweer studio team · Last updated · 6 min read
TL;DR
- Event and corporate coverage at Tasweer includes a photographer and a videographer: AED 3,300 for 1 to 4 hours, AED 4,500 for 5 to 8 hours and AED 5,700 for 9 to 12 hours (all excl. 5% VAT).
- The biggest price drivers are hours covered, number of photographers, video, and how fast you need images.
- Every package delivers the edited photos and highlight video the same day, together with all RAW photos and video footage.
- We did not find reliable published Dubai market rates for corporate events, so this guide does not quote market averages. Compare quotes on the same hours, crew and delivery terms.
- Send the date, venue and run-of-show on WhatsApp for a firm quote the same day.
Event photography at Tasweer starts at AED 3,300 (excl. 5% VAT) for 1 to 4 hours with a photographer and a videographer, including 30 edited photos, a highlight video and all RAW files, delivered the same day. A 5 to 8-hour event is AED 4,500, and a 9 to 12-hour day is AED 5,700.
How much does event photography cost in Dubai?
For our studio, event coverage costs AED 3,300 to AED 5,700 depending on the package, before 5% VAT. Packages are priced per event rather than per hour, so you know the total before the day.
| Package | From (AED, excl. 5% VAT) | Coverage | Crew |
|---|---|---|---|
| Essential | 3,300 | 1 to 4 hours | Photographer and videographer |
| Signature | 4,500 | 5 to 8 hours | Photographer and videographer |
| Heirloom | 5,700 | 9 to 12 hours | Photographer and videographer |
We looked for published Dubai market rates for corporate event photography and did not find a source we could open and verify, so we do not quote a market average here. Photographers in Dubai price by the hour, the half day, the day or per event, so the only fair comparison is the same hours, the same crew, the same delivery speed and the same usage.
What changes the price of event photography?
Four things move the price most: how long the photographer is on site, how many people cover the event, whether you need video, and how quickly you need images.
- Hours. A 4-hour launch and an 8-hour conference are different jobs. Count from the first setup shot to the last guest, not just the agenda.
- Crew. One photographer follows one story. Parallel sessions, VIP arrivals and sponsor areas at the same time need more than one.
- Video. A highlight video adds a videographer on the day and editing time afterwards.
- Speed. Same-day selects need editing during or straight after the event. Live social posting needs an editor on site.
- Spread. Several rooms, venues or days cost more than one room.
Every package is delivered the same day, so speed does not add to our price; live posting during the event is the extra to ask about.
What is included in each event package?
Every package includes a 2-person crew, same-day delivery and all RAW files; the difference is hours, photo count and video.
| Included | Essential | Signature | Heirloom |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hours of coverage | 1 to 4 | 5 to 8 | 9 to 12 |
| Edited photos | 30 | 45 | 60 |
| Highlight videos | 1 | 1 | 2 |
| Instagram reels | No | 1 | 2 |
| Same-day delivery + all RAW files | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| On-site editing for live social | No | Quote on request | Yes |

Which package suits which type of event?
Match the package to the length and spread of the event, not its prestige.
- Product launch or press briefing, 2 to 4 hours: Essential is usually enough. You get 30 edited photos and a highlight video the same day.
- Conference or full-day corporate event: Signature, because a full day needs up to 8 hours of coverage and most organisers want a reel as well as the recap video.
- Long conference days, expos or several rooms: Heirloom, with up to 12 hours of coverage and on-site editing so sponsors and speakers get content during the event. Multi-day events are quoted from your run-of-show.
- Private celebrations such as birthdays or engagements: Essential or Signature depending on length. For weddings, see our wedding photography prices.
If your team also needs individual portraits for a website or LinkedIn, see our corporate headshots cost guide.
If the recap video will be used for reels, our Instagram Reels cost guide explains how short-form video is priced.
How do you brief an event photographer for an accurate quote?
Give the photographer the facts that set hours and crew. A good brief takes five minutes and gets a firm quote the same day.
- Date, venue and start and end times, including setup.
- Run-of-show or agenda, so we can see overlapping sessions.
- Must-have moments: keynote, VIP arrivals, sponsor boards, product reveal, group photo.
- Deliverables: gallery only, or video as well, and where the images will be used.
- Deadline: live posting during the event, or our standard same-day delivery.
- Venue rules: access times, lighting restrictions and any supplier requirements.
We agree the shot list with you before the event, so the must-have moments are covered.
What should you check before hiring an event photographer?
Ask for the things that cause surprises on the day. Use this list with any photographer, including us.
- Total price in AED and whether 5% VAT is added.
- Exact hours covered, and the charge for overtime.
- Number of photographers and whether video is included.
- Delivery times for selects, the full gallery and any video.
- How many edited images you can expect and in what format.
- Who handles venue access, and whether a permit is needed. Our Dubai photography permits guide explains the usual cases.
Ready to plan your event? Send the date, venue and run-of-show on WhatsApp or the quote form for a firm quote the same day, or check availability on the booking page.
Frequently asked questions
How much does event photography cost in Dubai?
Every event package includes a photographer and a videographer. Essential is AED 3,300 for 1 to 4 hours with 30 edited photos and a highlight video, Signature is AED 4,500 for 5 to 8 hours with 45 photos and a reel, and Heirloom is AED 5,700 for 9 to 12 hours with 60 photos, 2 highlight videos and 2 reels. All prices exclude 5% VAT.
Is the price per hour or per event?
Our packages are priced per event, built around a set number of hours and crew. Essential covers 1 to 4 hours, Signature 5 to 8 hours and Heirloom 9 to 12 hours. If your event is longer or has several rooms, send the run-of-show and we quote it.
How fast do we get the photos?
Edited photos and the highlight video are delivered the same day, together with all RAW photos and video footage, so you can post while the event is still trending.
Can you edit on site for live social posting?
Yes. Heirloom includes on-site editing so your social team receives images during the event. It can also be added to Signature for an extra fee, which we quote for your event.
Do I need a photographer and a videographer?
Every package includes both, so you get stills and a recap video for LinkedIn, Instagram or your website without booking a second supplier. Signature adds an Instagram reel, and Heirloom adds a second highlight video and two reels.
Do I need a permit to photograph my event?
Coverage inside a booked venue is normally arranged with the venue and organiser. Public or outdoor locations may need a permit for professional filming. See our Dubai photography permits guide, and we check requirements with you before the event.
How far ahead should I book?
As early as you know the date, because the same crew cannot cover two events at once. Send the date and venue on WhatsApp and we confirm availability and a firm quote the same day.
